Report that pursuant to the laws of Israel, it is a criminal offense for anyone to disclose that they adopted or are adopted.  A new bill has been proposed to decriminalize disclosures revolving around adoption.

Louisiana House Votes 83-15 to Send Measure to Louisiana Senate to Consider Legal Framework for Surrogacy

Vetoed twice by former Governor Bobby Jindal, the Louisiana House approved another measure 83-14 to have Louisiana Senate consider legal framework for surrogacy.

Article states that surrogacy in Louisiana is not currently illegal; however, surrogacy contracts are not enforceable.

Civil Union and Cohabiting Partners May Now Be Able to Adopt in Ireland if Legislation is Approved

Minister for Children and Youth Affairs of Ireland, James Reilly, announced the publication of the Adoption (Amendment) Bill of 2016.  The Bill eases rules for step-parent adoptions and creates eligibility for unmarried civil union and cohabiting partners to adopt.
